What is a Step and Repeat you ask? Very good question, we are asked this every now and then. A Step and Repeat Backdrop Banner is a large 8' high by 8', 10' or 12' wide backdrop display that has one or more Event Sponsor logos repeated in a variety or step or diagonal alternating pattern. Used as Photography Backdrops for event photo opportunities for the event guests and special VIP attendees, while displaying sponsor logos and cause awareness.
Industry professionals say it comes from a graphic design term of the "stepping" and "repeating" of the Promotional Brand or Event Sponsor logos. Some also say it's the process of having the VIP's "step" onto the red carpet in front of the backdrop to pose for the Photographer and then walk on into the soiree, while the next person follows along and "repeats" the process.
